Mission Statement of our church:
We, the congregation of the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Lincoln, Illinois, commit ourselves with faith in God to provide a warm and welcoming Christian experience for all those who may come and for all those who are in our household of faith. We will gladly lift up the name of Jesus Christ in all that we do through a meaningful worship service, relevant Christian education, ongoing fellowship and compassionate outreach to the community in which God has placed us.

Join Us Sunday Mornings
Sunday mornings starting at 9:00 a.m. we meet for a bible devotional time. We read a bible verse as well as a devotional fitting the verse and then have an open discussion about what we read. All are welcome. Then at 10:00 a.m. we have our worship service with songs of praise and a sermon. The last Sunday of each month we also have Holy Communion where we welcome all to the table to partake.
Join Us Wednesday Evenings
Wednesday evenings at 6:00 p.m. we meet for bible study. All are welcome to come and learn more about God’s word.
Prayer Chain
Do you have a prayer request? Do you or someone you know need the power of prayer? We have a very active prayer chain that we can put your prayer request on. Just call or email the church with your prayer request and we will put it on our prayer chain and our church will begin praying for you. The power of prayer can do many things so let us all be prayer warriors for you!
Looking Ahead This Month
We will have a Christmas Eve service at 6:00pm on Wednesday, December 24th. There will be lots of singing of Christmas hymns, lighting the Christ candle, reading the true Christmas story and passing the light of Christ. All are welcome to join us.
